Now that spring is on the horizon, it’s a great time to start taking stock of all the New Year’s resolutions you made on January 1st. Have you read more? Started learning a new language? Gone on more walks? Started putting money into savings? Now that it’s a few months into the New Year, how are your New Year’s resolutions going?
For me, I made a promise to myself to read at least one book a month (just because I wanted a goal I could hit easily!) and so far I’ve been ahead of my goal and am about to finish my 4th book in 3 months. I’ve read some great stories and feel like I’m hitting a satisfying goal.
It helps to take stock of your resolutions because you can grow (or shrink if you’re hitting weight loss goals!) and about 3 months into the New Year is when you start to see results. Seeing results is a great motivator to keep going throughout the year.
Maybe one of your resolutions was to feel more satisfied this year. Have you made a list of what’s enough for you? Setting some milestones for your goals is a great way to keep track. And keeping reminders around the house – like a dry-erase board or piece of paper stuck to your fridge with a magnet – will be a visual reminder to continue the quest.
Whatever your resolutions may be, we hope you’re keeping up with them and staying satisfied all year long!
